I was recently asked what the goals of Immortal Memory are.
They are simple and clear.
1. To immortalize Robert Burns cultural and humanitarian legacy with targeted cultural events designed to educate and entertain in his name through his word. To include the broad dissemination of his message through concerts, audio and video recordings and personal appearances and interviews.
2. To Channel The Bard and effectively introduce and enlighten people to Celtic and Scottish culture, its value and contribution to current society as a well-spring of Brotherly Love, Freedom and Peace.
3. To encourage an understanding and acceptance of the concept that the human values of common sense and pride of worth are higher rank than any social position or man-given titles and demonstrate the same by example in our own lives.
You may say these are sky high goals; they are.
